Our conference is divided into two segments:

  • School on “Surface Science and Applications” – November 25 to 27 2024
  • Workshop on “Advanced Materials for the Energy Transition” – November 28 and 29 2024

To accommodate different preferences and requirements, we offer the following registration options:

  • School Registration
    Fee: €550
    Includes: Access to all school sessions, materials, 3 coffee breaks, and 3 lunches.
    School Accommodation Package
    Fee: €270
    Includes: Accommodation for the duration of the IN 25/11 OUT 27/11 and 2 dinners.
  • Workshop Registration
    Fee: €550
    Includes: Access to all Workshop sessions, materials, 3 coffee breaks, and 2 lunches.
    Workshop Accommodation Package
    Fee: €220
    Includes: Accommodation for the duration of the IN 27/11 OUT 29/11 and 1 dinner.
  • School and Workshop registration Bundle
    Fee: €1000
    Includes: Access to all school sessions, materials, 6 coffee breaks, 5 lunches.
    Full Event Accommodation
    Fee: €490
    Includes: Accommodation for the duration of the school and workshop and 3 dinners.
  • Social Dinner on November 28th 
    Fee: €70
Submission of Abstracts
Please note that to submit an abstract, you must first register for the congress.

VISA

Participants requiring a visa to attend the Congress must provide the following documents as part of their application process:

  • Letter of Invitation: A formal letter of invitation from the SSAM 2024 organizing committee, which will be provided upon request after successful registration for the conference.
  • Proof of Employment or Enrollment: A letter from your employer or faculty confirming your employment or student status. This letter should be on official letterhead and include:
    • Your full name and passport number.
    • Confirmation of your current role or enrollment.
    • A statement that you will return to your home country after the conference.
  • Conference Registration Confirmation: Proof of registration for the event. This can be a copy of the registration confirmation email or receipt.
  • Travel Itinerary: Details of your travel plans, including flight bookings and accommodation reservations for the duration of your stay in L’Aquila, Italy.
  • Financial Support Documents: Evidence of sufficient financial resources to cover your stay in Italy. This can include recent bank statements, a letter of financial support, or proof of sponsorship if applicable.
  • Passport Photocopy: A clear copy of the personal information page of your passport, which should be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Italy.

Please ensure all documents are in English or accompanied by a certified translation. Submit these documents to the Italian consulate or embassy in your country as part of your visa application.
